There is an about ½” long scratch/compression mark on the left side of the stock above the trigger area and a small chip in the finish (but not the wood) on the right side opposite the rear adjustable trigger screw. There are several marks on the right side of the forearm that appear to be filler and are finished over. Beyond these specific marks there is only the light handling marks expected on any competitive trap gun. The butt stock is a Monte Carlo with an adjustable comb having a drop range of 1 ¼” to 1 5/8”. The comb also adjusts for cast on or cast off. A Wiha hex screwdriver is provided for adjustments to the comb. The LOP measures 14 ¼” from the front of the trigger to the back of the black, expertly mounted Kick-Eez recoil pad. The stocks and recoil pad rate in about Fine to Excellent overall condition.
Type of Finish: The barrel and rib are blue. The case-hardened steel receiver has a satin silver colored finish with tasteful scroll pattern engraving that is further distinguished by a fluted profile at the breech and opening lever.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, with a lengthened forcing cone and six trapezoidal ports on each side of the barrel, starting about 4” behind the muzzle. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only the lightest of handling marks and some rubbing from mounting and removing the forearm. The metal work is even in even better condition than the wood, which was Fine to Excellent. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. In addition to the barrel porting, adjustable rib and screw-in chokes the trigger is also adjustable. Lastly, a metal device with a rubber tip has been applied to the bottom of the barrel (with what is probably a double sided adhesive tape) to allow the shotgun to rest at the trap stations without the muzzle resting on your foot or on the concrete. Our Assessment: This single barreled shotgun is specifically made by Krieghoff for competitive Trap Shooting. This is the “Special” model with the adjustable comb and rib. It is a serious and well-made shotgun, made by a serious and well respected shotgun manufacturer.
