Our Assessment: Everyone should have a Colt Single Action Army, and this would be a great one to add to any collection. Manufactured in 1995, this revolver has serial number S10000A, the 10,000th revolver of the split-letter serial range. The revolver is chambered in the classic .45 Colt cartridge with a 4 3/4″ barrel and blue & case color finish. As noted by the previous owner, it is intriguing that such an auspicious serial number would make it out of Colt’s as a standard model, with no engraving, pomp or circumstance, but it is no less interesting for that. The revolver has had an action job performed and comes with a nice set of Eagle stag grips. The gun is in Fine condition with 96% of its metal finish and a great bore. This is THE classic sixgun in the classic SAA cartridge that would be just as great for the collector as for the shooter. Please see our photos and good luck!
