Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “MOD. STAMPEDE, S.A. CAL.45LC”. The bottom of the barrel is marked “A.UBERTI-ITALY” and has two proof marks. The top of the barrel is marked “BERETTA U.S.A.CORP, ACKK., MD”. The front face of the frame is marked “1590”. The bottom of the frame is marked with the date code, “EB0011”, and three Italian proof marks. The cylinder is marked with two proof marks and the rear face is marked “011”. The sides of the grip have two Beretta logo medallions.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a quarter rounded blade that is fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch at the rear of a groove on the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The checkered shoulder stock has a straight grip, straight comb, and a crescent brass buttplate. The stock shows hardly any notable wear and the checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures approximately 13 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate, which shows scattered light tarnish. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore but there is some stubborn fouling.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling marks and operational wear. The cylinder shows a segmented turn line. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This revolving rifle has a three click hammer. The cylinder lock-up is tight with hardly notable play. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This is the Stampede Buntline Carbine from Beretta. This is probably the most major of changes in the Stampede revolver line, and features a very long 18″ barrel and a wood shoulder stock. It still is single-action with fixed sights, holding six .45 Long Colt cartridges. It is 34 inches long. This revolving carbine retains about 99% of its original finish and is in Excellent condition. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the trigger is crisp.
