Our Assessment: This is a Special Edition Colt Government Model 1911 made to commemorate the State of Hawaii Organization Of Police Officers, or SHOPO. We have never seen one of these before, and that may be because there were only 100 made, according to the included Colt Historian letter. It is a beautiful pistol which comes with a SHOPO display case, as well. This will be a great piece to add to a 1911 collection or for any Hawaiian police officers. Please see our photos and good luck!
