We did not fire this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None

Our Assessment: The .444 Marlin is a rifle cartridge designed in 1964 by Marlin Firearms and Remington Arms. It was designed to fill in a gap left by the older .45-70 when that cartridge was not available in any new lever action rifles; at the time it was the largest lever-action cartridge available. The .444 resembles a lengthened .44 Magnum and provides a significant increase in velocity. This Model 94AE (Angle Eject) is chambered for said cartridge and is designed to eject rounds without issue while a scope is mounted. The rifle is in about Fine-Excellent condition with almost all of its original finish remaining. This is a great all-around hunting rifle in an interesting caliber. Please see our photos and good luck!
