Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “NAVY ARMS / RIDEGEFIELD, NJ”, features the serial number “R010797”, the Pedersoli logo, “PEDERSOLI CAL. 45-70 / MADE IN ITALY CAT. 3514” and has several proof marks. The left side of the receiver has several Italian proofs including the date code “BP”. The top tang is marked “CAT. 35”.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a tunnel USA 455 globe style sight which is lined up with the creedmoor USA 436 diopter on the top tang, it has an interchangeable reticle inside of a dovetailed protective hood at the muzzle end of the barrel. The rifle comes with a set of reticles which can be interchangeably applied to the front globe sight. The rear sight is a square notch on a leaf and elevator that is dovetailed to the rear end of the barrel. The diopter is on the top tang, it is adjustable for elevation and windage, which has a peephole which is lined up with the interchangeable reticle on the front sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The stocks are two-piece walnut featuring a forend and butt-stock with straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip and metal buttplate. The stocks have some minor handling wear but lack any notable defects. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP is 14” from the trigger to the rear end of the buttplate. The buttplate has some minor handling wear. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is well defined. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition:The rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There is some minor handling wear including small scratches and nicks. Notably, the receiver has some minor scratches and the barrel has some handling marks. The markings are clear. The screwheads are serviceable. Overall, the rifle is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: The rifle comes in its factory case with corresponding serial numbers, foam inserts, interchangeable reticles for the globe sight and user manual. The box has some handling wear but remains in very Good condition. The foam inserts have some handling wear but still fit the rifle well.
