Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None

Our Assessment: The .450 Marlin is a belted cartridge derived from the .458 Winchester Magnum to act as a “modernized” .45-70. The case is approximately the same length as the .45-70, and produces about the same velocities, capable of taking any North American game animal. Retaining about 98% original finish, this is a great looking rifle in Fine-Excellent condition that obviously hasn’t seen a lot of use. Its short barrel and large bore are perfect for hunting in heavy brush. Please see our photos and good luck!
