Our Assessment: The Model 19 was introduced in 1955 and built on a K frame that was slightly larger in the yoke area and was initially offered only with a 4″ barrel. In the ’60s was this revolver offered with a 6″ barrel and then in a more concealable 2 1/2″ barrel configuration. This one happens to be a Limited Edition Fraternal Order of Police model celebrating their 75th anniversary and comes with a 4″ barrel, blued finish, gold accents, and smooth goncalo alves target stocks. This one is number 50 of 225 and is in Excellent condition and comes with a 75th Anniversary case. This will be a great addition to your collection, especially if you are a member.
