Markings: The right side of the barrel is marked “357 MAGNUM”. The bottom of the barrel is marked with a warning. The right side of the frame is marked with the Ruger Custom Shop logo, the serial number, “CS#-00289”, and “RUGER / SUPER GP100”.
Barrel Length: 5 1/2” with serrated barrel rib.
Sights/Optics: The front sight is a green fiber-optic dot fixed to a blade that is dovetailed into the barrel rib. The rear sight is a square-notch leaf adjustable for elevation and windage that is pinned to a channel in the topstrap.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The grip is a Hogue one-piece smooth hardwood. There are light handling marks, but otherwise the grip is free of notable wear or damage. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grip is in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Black Stainless Steel with PVD Coating
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are a scant few minor nicks on the underside of the barrel near the tip. The cylinder has a faint turn line not through the finish. The grip screw has minor tool marks, pins are unmarred, and all markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The double action is smooth and the single action is light and crisp. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Super GP-100 is a recent firearm from Ruger that, while bearing the GP-100 name, utilizes the action of the Super Redhawk allowing for a two-spring lock work arrangement for more double-action cycling and a larger cylinder—eight glorious rounds can be loaded into this revolver. This is a handsome revolver with a black stainless PVD finish that is ostensibly for glare reduction, but if we’re being honest, it’s just real purdy. This revolver is in excellent overall condition with only minor wear or evidence of much use. It is range ready, with a sturdy black briefcase making for easy transport. Fledgling target or competition shooters would do well to bid on this fine firearm. Good luck and happy bidding!
