Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “P307473 P 210-6” with the SIG logo in the center. The left side of the frame is marked “P 307473 MADE IN SWITZERLAND S / F”. The left side of the frame is marked “SIGARMS INC. HERNDON – VA”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Patridge style blade dovetailed into the frame. The rear sight is a square notch adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered plastic. There are only faint handling marks on the grips. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is Bright and the rifling is Sharp. There is NO erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are only light markings on the finish from the safety and slide release. The screw heads are Sharp. The markings are Clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in an original blue SIG box with foam insert, Factory test target, Magazine thumb saver, one magazine, and the Original Manual. The foam is deteriorating. The foam is in poor condition but the rest of the box and other accessories are in Fine condition.
Our Assessment: This pistol was originally manufactured in 1947 and became the standard military pistol of the Swiss Army in 1949. It was manufactured continuously for over 55 years. The pistols were decommissioned and replaced by the SIG P220 (Swiss Army designation Pistole 75) but second-hand P210s are greatly valued by shooting sports competitors. This is the 210-6 model which has a matte blue finish an adjustable rear sight and the European bottom magazine release. It comes in its original box and is in Fine Plus condition. These guns are always increasing in value. It should be a great investment and a wonderful addition to your collection.
