Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with a factory warning. The left side of the frame is marked “RUGER® .45 CALIBER / NEW MODEL BLACKHAWK®”. The right side of the frame under the cylinder is marked with the serial number “47-78583”. The back of the cylinder is marked “S”. The grip panels are marked at the top with a Ruger phoenix logo.

Barrel Length: 7 1/2″

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a black serrated ramped blade pinned to a base fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a black square-notch leaf in a base pinned to the topstrap and is adjustable for elevation and windage.

Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are two piece smooth wood panels held to the frame with a screw. There are light handling marks, but otherwise the grips are free of notable wear or damage. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. All stainless surfaces have scattered light nicks and minor scuffs. The cylinder has an intermittent faint turn line. The screws show light tool marks with strong slots, the pins are unmarred, and markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks with only minor play on each chamber. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
