Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.”. The right side of the slide is marked “MADE IN BELGIUM / ASSEMBLED IN PORTUGAL”. The barrel is marked “CAL 40 S & W”. The front strap is marked “2W5NX50318”. The right front of the trigger guard is marked with a Belgian proof. The right side of the barrel lug and bottom flat of the firing pin housing is marked with a Belgian proof and an inspector’s mark. There are other scattered small factory markings in hidden areas.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a patridge style blade with a white square recess that is dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a square notch leaf with two white square recesses that is dovetailed to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered synthetic panels with ambidextrous serrated shelves. The grips show only faint handling wear and the checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. The action has minor operational wear. There are infrequently dispersed minor marks to the finish, specifically on the right side of the slide. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. The disconnect safety is present and functional. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a grey plastic hard case with a manual and a total of two 10-round magazines that show some faint streaks of thinning from operational wear and rate in about Fine-Excellent condition. The case shows no major imperfections nor chips or cracks. The case rates in about Excellent condition.
