Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the “ACCURACY INTERNATIONAL ENGLAND U4393” and “AINA MINGUS TX”. The right of the receiver is marked “06SM10736” and has a proof. The right side of the chamber is marked with proofs and “300 WIN MAG”. The bolt body and the cocking piece are both matched and marked “10736”. The bolt body has proofs.
Barrel Length: 26” Fluted, 27 1/2″ to Muzzle Brake
Sights / Optics: There is no provision for iron sights. The top of the receiver is installed with a rail and a pair of rings that hold a Nightforce NXS 8-32×56 scope with an NP-R1 reticle. The scope has a few light handling marks plus scattered rubs the glass is clear. The scope rates in about Fine Plus condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock has a thumbhole grip, folding buttstock, adjustable comb height, monopod at the rear, multiple sling attachment points, an inlaid accessory rail on the bottom, a hole for a bipod mount at the nose of the forend, and a black rubber buttpad with length of pull spacers for adjustment. There are scattered spots of finish loss, most noticeable on the bottom edge of the grip and bottom of the forend. The LOP measures approximately 14 5/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the solid black rubber AI recoil pad. The recoil pad exhibits some light wear from use and general handling wear. The stock rates in about Fine Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few little scratches on the bolt knob. The cocking piece has some mottled thinning. The edges of the barrel and muzzle brake have a few little marks. There is standard operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The rifle has a three-position safety. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a Storm case, 5-round magazine, paperwork for the scope, and an Atlas bipod.
Our Assessment: The Accuracy International AWM sniper rifle is a variant of the British Accuracy International Arctic Warfare (AW) rifle that was the basis of a family of sniper rifles using the Arctic Warfare name. As such the design details of the AWM variant are similar to the ones found in the basic AW rifle system. Compared to the AW, the AWM has a longer bolt to accommodate dimensionally larger magnum-length cartridges such as the .300 Winchester Magnum and the .338 Lapua Magnum. The bolt head, locking ring, and extractor and magazines were also revised to work with the increased size and operating pressures of magnum rifle cartridges. It is a true sniper in every sense of the word and able to engage targets effectively out to 1,640 yards. The AWM is used to make up the British L115A3 sniper system which was used to make one of the longest confirmed kills in history at 2,707 yards. The AWM is used by militaries all around the world including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and Russia to name a few. This AWM is chambered for .300 Win.
