Markings: The left of the slide is marked “V-16 LONG SLIDE/CAL 45”. The left of the rear sight is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY”. The right of the slide is marked with “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” and the Springfield Armory crest. The right of the receiver is marked “SPRINGFIELD/GENESEO IL USA/N447258”. The top and right of the barrel is marked “G.A. .45 AUTO/DANGER/EXHAUST PORTS/READ MANUAL”. The underside of the receiver is marked “FI BRAZIL”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a windage and elevation adjustable square notch dovetailed to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips currently installed are one-piece Hogue black finger grooved pebble textured rubber. The Hogue logo is stamped on both sides. The grips show no significant wear, typical handling and storage marks. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition. The additional grips in the case are full checkered wood. The checkering is sharp and there is no notable wear other than from storage. The additional wood grip panels are in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is some fouling near the porting.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. There is some noticeable operational wear, scratches, nicks, and small patches of discoloration. Noticeably there are some scratches on the right of the frame and the top of the slide around the barrel porting along with some fouling and oxidation. The screwheads are sharp. The markings are sharp. Overall this handgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: It comes in a blue latched case. The case has only minor handling wear and is in overall Fine quality. The top of the box is marked with the Springfield Armory logo. There are barcode stickers on the left of the case. On the inside the top and bottom sections have warnings about safety. There is also a fit indentation for the gun and magazines. This gun also comes with two magazines, a cleaning rod, an extra spring, a features card, two textured wooden grip-plates, and an assortment of repair tools. Both magazines are marked “S” at the bottom.
