Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY / MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.” The left side of the frame is marked “BDA-380 425 MY02392”. The right side of the slide is marked with a circled “PB” logo and “FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL / MADE IN ITALY”. The right side of the frame is marked “PB”, the boxed “CD” date code, three Italian proofs, and “CAT. 6754”. The chamber is marked “CAL. 9 Short / 380 Auto”. The right side of the barrel hidden under the slide is marked with two proofs.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a half-round blade fixed to the slide. The rear sight is a square notch leaf dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The two-piece smooth wood grips sport a Browning Buckmark medallion on both panels. The right panel has a notable impact mark at the upper rear of the panel. There are a couple of other minor compressions and light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Very Good-Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore but there is some stubborn fouling in the grooves.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some faint light scratches on the front strap. Otherwise, only sparse handling marks are visible. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in its original serial matching gray case with paperwork including a manual, a total of two 13-round magazines, and a safety lock.
Our Assessment: This pistol is in Excellent condition, retaining about 98% of its original nickel finish. The slide is steel and the frame is alloy, making this pistol lightweight and easy to conceal. The .380ACP round was designed for personal protection. This pistol comes with two 13-round double-stack magazines which cannot be shipped to a resident of California or to a resident of any state with magazine capacity restrictions.
