Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SIG Arms Inc. Exeter, NH”, “Caliber .300 WIN MAG”, a warning, and “sig / swiss / precision” inside the Switzerland cross. The left side of the receiver is marked “SIG” in an oval, “Mod. SHR 970”, “Made in Switzerland”, and the serial number, “R 07365”.

Sights/Optics: There is no provision for iron sights on this rifle. The receiver is drilled, tapped, and filled with two-piece optic mounts on which there are optic rings that have attached a Leupold VX-1 3-9x scope with a duplex reticle. The scope is largely free of wear, but there are some very minor indications of use-wear on the body between the rings. The glass is clear, and overall, the scope rates in Fine condition.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a one-piece checkered wood with pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and a smooth black rubber buttpad. There are sling QD sling swivels on the belly of the buttstock and the underside of the forend. There are a few minor nicks on the belly of the buttstock, a few moderate drag lines on the right side of the buttstock, and some light scuff wear on the right side near the bolt. There are no chips or cracks The LOP measures 13 7/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The buttpad has light handling wear with some omore notable scuffing on the outer edge. Overall, the stock is in Very Good-to-Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 97% of its finish. Apart from the wear on the stock, this rifle is free of any additional notable wear or damage. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp. Overall, the rifle is in Fine-plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
