Our Assessment: Colt’s Model 1873, the Single Action Army, is the “gun that won the west”, perhaps the most iconic handgun of all time. For nearly 150 years, the gun has been produced in a variety of configurations, finishes and calibers. This revolver is the absolute closest to a Colt you can get without a pony on the side. This USFA Rodeo has a matte blue finish with a 5 1/2″ barrel and is chambered for the classic .45 Colt cartridge. It is in Excellent condition, appearing to have spent more time in its serial-matching USFA box than out. The mainspring and sear-bolt spring have been upgraded, resulting in a silky-smooth action, but the original parts are also included if you want to return it to factory condition. This gorgeous revolver will make a great addition to any collection. Please see our photos and good luck!
