Markings: The top of the receiver is marked “US RIFLE M1A / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY (t)” and features the serial number “101817X”. The top of the bolt is marked “7790185-HRT / A02”. The left side of the stock on top of the grip is marked with an eagle on top of crossed lines under 3 stars. The front end of the grp has a “P” between two lines.
Barrel Length: 21” with muzzle break that has been installed
Sights/ Optics: The rear sight is a fully-adjustable aperture set between protective ears, the face of the right knob is marked “LEFT” twice between alternating curved arrows and “HRA-W” underneath one of the curved arrows. The body of the left knob is marked with numbers 2-11 with “W” “C” and “F” between 10 and 8, and “M” between 10 and 11. The top of the barrel is equipped with a picatinny rail for an attachment (NO attachments included).
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The wood M14 stock features a pistol grip, a straight comb, a steel buttplate with storage compartment and flip-up steel shoulder rest, and the factory sling swivel at the bottom of the forend and a fixed sling swivel at the rear. There are some mild handling marks, scratches and nicks. No cracks or chips. The stock is meant for the original M14 leaving gaps where the military grade components were fitted too, these have not been filled. The stock is in Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 99% of its finish. There is some light thinning at some of the leading edges. There are some scattered light marks and faint operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp and clear. Overall, the rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Springfield Armory M1A Semi-Automatic Rifle takes .308 Winchester ammunition. The rifle comes with an M14 stock which should appeal to enthusiasts, including the P mark on the grip. Unfortunately the magazine is NOT included but otherwise this all you could ask for in a rifle.
