Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.”. The right side of the slide is marked “MADE IN BELGIUM / BY FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL”. The bottom flat of the firing pin housing is marked with various factory marks and a Belgian proof. The barrel is marked “CAL. 9m/mL / 245PY06845”. The right bow of the trigger guard and the right side of the barrel lug are marked with a Belgian proof and an inspector’s mark. The left side of the barrel lug is marked with various factory marks.
Barrel Length: 4 5/8”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a tall rear sloping serrated blade integral to a base that is fixed to the slide. The rear sight is a cylindrical square notch that is adjustable for windage and elevation and dovetailed to the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered wood panels. The panels show no perceptible imperfections. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are just a few faint handling marks on the front strap. The action has minor operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a black faux leather soft zipper case with a manual and a total of two 13-round magazines.
Our Assessment: This is a beautiful commercial Hi Power pistol from FN Browning manufactured in 1982. This is a truly gorgeous pistol.
