Markings: The left of the barrel is marked “RUGER – NEWPORT, NH – USA”.  The left of the frame is marked with the Ruger logo.  The left of the barrel is marked “RUGER GP100” and “.22 LR”.  The rest of the frame is marked with the serial number, the Ruger logo, and “®”.  The top of the barrel is marked with the Ruger logo on the sights as well.  “151” is written on the crane.

Barrel Length: 4.2”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a green fiber optic insert set in a dovetail slot at the muzzle. The rear sight is a square notch with a white outline adjustable for windage and elevation pinned to the top of the frame.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are a two-piece black rubber with wood center panels.  There is very little in the way of operational use. No major defects were noticed. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is sharp and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish.  There is very little in the way of wear marks.  There is a very faint drag line around the cylinder.  The screw heads are sharp and the markings are sharp.  Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly.  The star is sharp. The cylinder lockup is acceptable with an acceptable amount of play. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The pistol comes in the factory Ruger grey case with matching end label, lock, and instructions. All are in the same condition as the gun… Excellent

Our Assessment: We have nothing bad to say about this revolver. It is in high condition from a reputable company with great mechanics in our favorite finish for a range gun. With the 10 round cylinder you will get tired of holding the gun before you empty the cylinder.
