Markings: The left side of the top barrel is marked “WINCHESTER Model 101 Sporting / 12 Gauge 2 3/4″ Chamber – Invector-Plus Choke” and with an ovalled “WP”. Below the stock line, each barrel has a “*” on the left-rear. The bottom of the monoblock is marked “13AZM04051” and hand-scribed “X” and “872”. The right of the top barrel is marked “Made by FN – Belgium – Imported by BACO. Inc. – Morgan, Utah / Winchester is a registered trademark of Olin Corporation”. The inside of the forend iron is scribed with “4051”, the inside of the forend is stamped “B”. The top tang is marked “13AZM04051”. The water table is marked “*”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “WINCHESTER / Model 101” with a square border below an engraved pigeon. Each side of the receiver has decorative engraving, marked “CAPECE” at the bottom of the design on the left.
Barrel Length: 32”, Ported, with Ventilated 10mm Rib
Choke: The barrels are threaded for Invector-Plus chokes. Winchester Signature chokes included are two Skeet, two Modified, Light Full and Improved Cylinder.
Sights / Optics: There is a TruGlo fiber-optic bead and there is a white mid-bead. The top of the rib is serrated to reduce glare.
Weight: 7 lb., 15.5 oz.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with semi-beavertail forend, flat-bottom pistol grip, adjustable comb and black rubber Winchester buttpad with plastic heel-cap. The forend has a couple of nicks at the latch assembly and one on the top-left edge toward the rear. The buttstock has only light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP meaures 14 5/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The adjustable trigger is currently set all the way forward and has about 3/4″ of adjustment space behind. Drop at comb is approximately 1 5/8″ with the comb all the way down. Drop at heel is approximately 2 1/8″. The comb is adjustable for drop and cast. The pad has light wear at the toe and is still supple. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The action shows minor operational wear. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. It has a single selective inertial trigger. The barrels lock up with no play to the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: The iconic Model 101 Pigeon Grade is a shotgun with legendary styling and handling and the unquestionable reliability you expect from Winchester firearms. The Pigeon Sporting features everything you could want in a Sporting Clays gun. It has 32″ ported barrels threaded for Invector-Plus chokes, adjustable trigger, adjustable comb, wide rib with fiber-optic front bead and a mid-bead. Le’ts be honest, the most important thing is that it looks good, too! This shotgun shows wear consistent with one or two trips to the range, but looks like it’s spent more time in its included factory box.
