Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “MODEL 101–WINCHESTER-12 GAUGE-2¾”/NEW HAVEN. CONN – U.S.A.” and “FULL *” on the top barrel, “IMP. MOD* *” on the bottom barrel. There is an “R” on the underside of the barrel. On both barrels the same Winchester proof mark is marked. The right side of the barrel is marked “MADE IN JAPAN”. The underside of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”. The underside of the barrel is marked “401650” and “12-2¾” in an oval. A floral scroll is marked on both sides of the barrel. The receiver is engraved on the right and the left by an elegant floral scroll pattern. The underside of the receiver is marked with the Winchester logo and an engraving of a pigeon. The top of the rail above the barrel is marked “PIGEON GRADE”. The top side of the receiver is marked “PK401650” underneath the top lever, the inside of the receiver is marked “16” and with the Winchester proof, underneath the safety is marked “S”, and to the left of the safety is marked “U”. The forearm hardware is marked “401650” and the wood of the forearm is marked “1650”.

Choke: The top barrel is Full, and the bottom barrel is Improved Cylinder.
Sights / Optics: There is a white bead at the muzzle and another white bead midway down the barrel. The top of the barrel has a wide broadway ventilated rib.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a checkered two-piece wood with round-bottom semi-pistol grip, straight comb, and checkered black Kick-EEz recoil pad. There are some VERY light surface scratches and scuffs. Nothing major and most will get overlooked. There are no chips or cracks. The recoil pad shows some minor use, specifically around the edge. The LOP measures 14?” from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad. The stocks rate in about Excellent Overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is light erosion, with some fouling near the muzzle.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 90% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish exhibits little operational wear. The most evident marks of this are some scuffs on the barrel. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are sharp. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
