Our Assessment: What a nice .22 bolt action rifle! Everyone needs a .22, they are loads of fun, great for training and field use, or filling the pot. This one is just exceptionally nice. Beautifully blued and wood finished, the Mark XXII is a true connoisseur’s rifle. The trigger features the rare trigger pull adjustment screw that was offered only by Beretta when they were manufacturing this rifle and KTG Japan—the maker of this example. This rifle was well-loved and well cared for with the previous owner having sent the rifle back to the factory to have the barrel re-blued. It was a worthwhile thing to do because this rifle is gorgeous top to bottom. Of note is the neat multi-leaf sight. If you need a fine rifle as a present you can’t do better than this. Please see our photos and good luck!
