Our Assessment: This is a beautiful Weatherby Mark V that was manufactured in Japan by Howa. This rifle has an excellent bore and a clean, light trigger. Another sweet addition is the Zeiss scope that is also in Fine-Excellent condition. There are small amounts of oxidation on the floorplate but they aren’t deep into the finish and will likely come off with some oil and very light cleaning with steel wool. All this thing needs is a decent sling and it will be ready to hunt with. Please see our photos and good luck!
