Markings: The bottom of the left barrel is marked with 3 stars and is marked “20 GA-3”. The bottom of the right barrel is marked with 4 stars and the serial number “04 SL 073”. The Lug is marked “50”. The left side of the water table is marked “20 GA- 3” and has the serial number “04 SL 073”. The right side of the water table is marked “HATFIELD GUN COMPANY TURKEY”. The forend iron is marked with the serial number “04 SL 073”. The receiver, trigger guard, and forend iron have decorative engraving.

Sights / Optics: There is a brass bead at the front of the rib. The rib is serrated for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a splinter forend, straight grip, straight comb and checkered bare butt. The buttstock has some scattered minor nicks and scratches. The forend has only a few scattered minor marks. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 14 5/8” from the front trigger to the back of the butt and 13 3/4” from the rear trigger. There are a few light marks in the butt checkering. Drop at comb is approximately 1 ½”, drop at heel 2 ¼”. The cast is about neutral. The stocks rate in Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows a few scattered minor scratches and marks. The action shows minor operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrels lock up with no play. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: The Hatfield double barreled shotgun is a 20 gauge which takes 3” shells. It has a slick style and is a fine piece of Turkish workmanship. It is the London model, made in the style of British Best Guns, with removable sidelocks, cocking indicators, and beautiful finish.
