Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “KDF SEGUIN/TEXAS”, “MOD. K-22”, “CAL .22LR”, with German proof marks and “IE” date code. The left of the receiver is marked with a German proof and “TITAN”. The right of the receiver is marked “897159”. The right of the barrel is marked “VOERE Vohrenbach Made in Germany”. The bolt has a German proof mark.
Barrel Length: 21″
Sights / Optics: The barrel has no provision for iron sights. The top of the receiver has a rib and four drilled and tapped hole for mounting an optic (none included).
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is checkered walnut with nose and grip caps, straight comb, serrated black rubber buttpad and sling studs front and rear. According to the included letter from KDF, the inlay on the grip cap was done by Robert Kleinguenther, himself. The letter also notes that the rifle was returned to KDF in August, 2014 for the stock to be refinished. This work was performed by John Valicek. The stock has only a few scattered minor nicks, scuffs and one small ding at the bottom-rear corner of the left grip checkering. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14 3/8″ and 13 5/8″ from the fronts of the triggers to the back of the buttpad, 13 3/4″ and 13″ to the back of the wood. The pad has minor wear with well defined serrations. Overall, the stock is in Fine condition as factory refinished.
Type of Finish: Blued
Finish Originality: Original, the trigger guard has been touched up.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The action shows minor operational wear. There is some minor erosion in the trigger guard which has been touched up. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads range from sharp to lightly tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a single 5-round magazine, a letter about this rifle from KDF, invoice for the factory refinishing of the stock, a Kleinguenther accurizing brochure and a print out of a July 2011 Precision Shooting article about the Kleinguenther K22 rifles.
Our Assessment: This is a high-quality rimfire target rifle made by Voere, imported and accurized by Kleinguenther Distinctive Firearms in Seguin, Texas. These Voere K-22 rifles are well known for being extremely precise rifles with all of their efforts put toward improving quality but with a little flash on the Deluxe models such as this. The result is an gorgeous rifle that will easily keep up with names like Anschutz and Mauser. This rifle is in Excellent condition, having been factory refurbished by KDF in 2014 and appearing to have seen little use since. Please see our photos and good luck!
