Markings: The underside of the receiver and trigger guard plate are marked “284896”. The left side of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER MODEL 61 / TRADE MARK / MADE IN USA / 22 W.M.R.F.”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed into the barrel and the rear sight is a square notch leaf sight with riser.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is smooth hardwood while the sides of the forend are ribbed and the underside is smooth. There is little to no wear on the wood of these stocks. There are only the faintest of handling marks and a few compression marks on the belly of the stock. The forend has a small spot of wear about an inch in diameter. The LOP measures 13 1/3” from the front of the trigger to the back of the plastic Winchester buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is Bright and the rifling is Sharp. There is No erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows the lightest beginning of wear on the action slide. There are a couple of handling marks on the receiver. The screw heads are Sharp. The markings are Clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle.

Our Assessment: This .22 magnum gallery-style gun is truly unique and is in amazing condition. It looks near new with only slight evidence that it has ever been used. This rifle is in impeccable shape and would be a joy to own.
