Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “SIG SAUER”, “MADE IN GERMANY”, and “SIG SAUER INC. / EXETER – NH”. The right side of the slide is marked with the serial number “U 765 306”, and eagle over “N” proof mark, and “P226 S”. The right side of the barrel visible through the ejection port is marked “9mm Para”, the left is marked “SIG SAUER” with two German proofs and “AH” date code. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number “U 765 306”, and an eagle over “N” proof mark. Both grip panels are marked “KN”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated black blade dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a serrated square-notch adjustable for elevation and windage pinned to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are custom KN two-piece checkered laminate wood that wrap around the backstrap, leaving the checkered frontstrap exposed. The grip shows only minor handling marks, and the left panel has three spots where the checkering is marred. The checkering is otherwise sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. Most wear can be found on the magazine well, which has a few light scuffs. The barrel has some minor operational wear. The screws show minor tool marks with sharp slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in Fine-plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol includes a black plastic Sig Sauer snap-case, two (2) 10-round magazines, the original Sig Sauer grips, a lock, a test-fire target, the manual, and a small baggy with fiber optic beads for a front sight. The black snap-case shows minor handling marks, but is otherwise free of any notable wear or damage, and rates in Excellent condition. The magazines have minor operational wear, strong springs, intact feed lips, and rate in Fine condition. The original grips have no notable wear or damage and rate in excellent condition.
