Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “Anschütz Modell 1717” and with a warning. The left side of the barrel is marked with an eagle over “N” proof mark, an “AD” German date code indicating the year of manufacture as 2003, and a German stag antler proof mark. The left side of the receiver is marked with an eagle over “N” proof mark, the serial number, “3037359”, and “J. G. Anschütz Ulm Germany”. The top of the bolt is marked with an eagle over “N” proof mark.

Sights / Optics: There is no provision for iron sights on this rifle. The textured receiver rib is drilled, tapped, and filled.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece wood with checkered pistol grip and schnabel forend, fluted straight comb, and serrated polymer buttplate. There are sling studs on the belly of the buttstock and the underside of the forend. There are light handling marks, but otherwise the stock is free of any notable wear or damage. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The buttplate is free of any notable wear or damage. Overall, the stock rates in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The barrel has a few minor nicks on the bottom and one more notable scuff under the forward barrel marking. The screws show minor toolmarks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine-plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes a brown cardboard shipping box with serial matching styrofoam insert, one (1) 5-shot magazine, and the manual, the last page of which serves as a test-fire target. The shipping box has light wear with a few small tears on the bottom, a few light creases near the flaps, and overall rates in Very Good-plus condition. The styrofoam insert has only minor wear at the ends, and overall rates in Fine condition. The magazine shows light operational wear, has intact feed lips, and rates in Fine condition.
