Our Assessment: This is a nice Model 1908 Mannlicher Schoenauer Carbine that was made by Steyr in 1937. It appears to have had a gentle life. The rifle still has a deep blue finish and the bore is still bright. It comes with a spoon bolt handle, internal rotary magazine, double set triggers, 2 leaf rear sight, hand checkering and deep crisp markings on the metal. This will make a wonderful addition to a collection of vintage European sporting rifles, especially if you’re a fan of the Mannlicher-Schoenauer. Please see our photos and good luck!
