Markings: The left side of the top barrel is marked “MANNLICHER MOD EDINBURGH”. The right side of the top barrel is marked “BY RENATO GAMBA”. The right side of the bottom barrel is marked “STEYR SECAUCUS NJ.”. The left side of the bottom barrel is marked “MADE IN ITALY”. The lower barrel and barrel lug are marked with various factory stamps and proof marks including an Italian “AE” date code, indicating the year of manufacture as 1979. The water table is marked with various factory stamps and proof marks including the Renato Gamboa logo and the serial number, “42591”. The interior of the forend iron and wood are also marked with the serial number, “42591”. The left side of the receiver is marked “ARMI-RENATO GAMBA”, the underside is marked “EDINBURGH”, and the right side is marked “GARDONE V.T. ITALY”. The receiver, break lever, and trigger guard all feature floriate engraving.

Barrel Length: 30” with Textured, Serrated, and Ventilated Barrel Rib and Mid-Rib

Sights/Optics: There is a white dot fixed to the front of the barrel rib and a mid bead. The top of the rib is textured to reduce glare.

Weight: 8lb, 1.2oz

Stock Configuration and Condition: The stocks are two-piece wood with checkered pistol grip and forend with finger grooves, fluted monte carlo comb, and a serrated and ventilated black rubber recoil pad. Areas of the forend and the comb are lighter in appearance where the finish has thinned. The buttstock and grip have scattered minor nicks most notable on the right side to the rear of the grip. Apart from the thinning of the finish, the forend is free of any notable wear or damage. The checkering is well-defined. There are no chips or cracks. The drop at comb is 1 1/4” and 1 1/2”, the drop at heel is 2”. The cast is off. The LOP measures 14 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the pad. There is wear at the heel and toe, and the rubber is somewhat dry at the heel. Overall, the stocks rate in Very Good-plus condition.

Bore Condition: Both bores are bright and there is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. Stainless surfaces have only scattered minor scuffs and the barrels have taken on a faint plum hue. The barrels have a few light nicks mainly under the areas protected by the forend. Screws show minor tool marks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lock up is tight with no play. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
