Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade that is pinned to a serrated riser which is integral to the gas tube cap. The rear sight is a windage and elevation adjustable peep sight side mounted to the receiver.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The smooth wood stocks have a pistol grip, straight comb with a cheek piece, and a serrated Sheridan Buttplate. There is a small crack at the rear of the left side of the buttstock. There are scattered light nicks, compressions and draglines with the most notable being on the belly and the bottom of the pump arm. The wood has darkened with age and the grains can be felt. There are no chips. The length of pull measures 13 3/8” front he front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate, which shows nicks, scratches, and discoloration from age. Overall the stock rates in about Good Plus condition.
Finish: Blue & Bright Steel
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is well defined. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 85% of its metal finish. Much of the finish is either transitioning or has transitioned to patina, most notable at the rear of the gas tube and barrel. There is scratching and finish loss on the gas tube cap. There are other minor nicks and scratches throughout the metal. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. This air rifle rates in about Very Good overall condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this air rifle. As with all previously owned items, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This is a sweet pellet rifle which has been well cared for. If you know air rifles, then you know about these, few are more highly regarded than the Sheridens. Please see our photos and good luck!
