Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “Remington” followed by a target and “Wingmaster / MODEL 870LW / W248458H”. The left side of the barrel is marked “*410 GA. FOR 3 IN. PLASTIC SHELLS”, “FULL”, and is also marked with an inspection mark followed by “BF S” next to the receiver. The right side of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC. / ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.” and has magnaflux, proof, and test marks next to the receiver.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a bright bead set on the barrel at the muzzle. The top of the receiver and rib are serrated for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are press checkered wood with fleur di lis accents, finger groove forend, capped pistol grip, and the buttstock has a fluted straight comb. There are a few scuffs and light compressions. There are some draglines. There are a few marks through the finish, most noticeable on the bottom of the forend at the front and rear of the forend on the left side. The checkering is strong. The LOP measures approximately 13 3/4″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the serrated black hard rubber Remington buttplate. The plate has some scattered light nicks and scratches. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with what appears to be some light surface erosion at the muzzle but it may prove to just be stubborn fouling that will be removed upon patient cleaning.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 95% of its current metal finish. There are a few light marks and draglines on the receiver. There are some tiny marks on the bottom of the barrel. The barrel has a slightly plumish hue with spots of a deeper blue at the posts of the rib but the rib appears original and unmodified. The pins are unmarred but the left side of the receiver has light wear around the front pin and it is slightly difficult to use. The markings are strong. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
