Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “CLASSIC MODEL / CUSTOM 45 ACP”. The right side of the frame is marked “KIMBER CLACKAMAS, OR. USA / K002272” behind the slide stop pin. The top of the chamber visible through the ejection port is marked “.45 ACP”. The left side of the slide is marked “Kimber”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade that is dovetailed to the front of the slide, it has been painted red by a previous owner. The rear sight is a square-notch low mount-style sight with a serrated rear face and it is dovetailed to the rear of the slide and also has a set screw.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are black two-piece double diamond checkered wood panels with “Kimber” in the center. The panels show very little handling wear and the checkering is strong. Overall, the grips rate in about Excellent condition. The backstrap is checkered and the checkering is sharp.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion but there is some stubborn fouling.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 88% of its metal finish. There is some light mottled thinning with finish loss on the edges. The slide is slightly plum. here are a few scattered spots of light surface oxidation. There are some little spots of dark discoloration on the slide release and grip safety. The slide release has finish loss. There is some little spots of dark discoloration on the bright sides of the hammer. The grip screws are tool marked with serviceable slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit is snug. The trigger is crisp. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
Box & Accessories: The pistol comes in a green soft case in about Excellent condition with a total of five magazines. Three mags are seven rounds, one is marked “C-S” and two are Kimber, the other two magazines are Tripp Research and are eight rounds. The blued mags have some light wear and rate in about Fine condition. The Tripp Research magazines rate in about Excellent condition.
