Our Assessment: With over 3 million sold, the Ruger automatic .22s are amongst the most popular handguns ever produced. The first of these models was also the first gun made by Sturm Ruger; which followed Ruger’s successful duplication of the baby Nambu pistol in his own garage. This started one of the greatest firearms manufacturing companies ever, leading to some of the most well-made guns in history. Our owner has personally fired over 1 million rounds through a pair of Rugers – without a single broken or replaced part. It only seems fitting that these pistols are used to commemorate 50 years of Ruger in such a beautiful way
