Markings: The bottom of the barrel is import-marked “CAI ST ALB. BT / M49 7.92”. The top of the receiver is marked with an Egyptian crown crest. The right side of the receiver is marked with Belgian proofs. The left side of the receiver is marked “FABRIQUE NATIONALE D’ARMES DE GUERRE-HERSTAL BELGIQUE”, “4102” and with an Arabic serial number. The Arabic serial number is found again on the left of the barrel, on the bolt, the rear face of the bolt carrier and the left of the receiver cover. The gas tube cap is marked with Arabic characters. The receiver cover and the right of the barrel have Belgian proofs.
Barrel Length: Approximately 23 Inches
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade dovetailed to a base between two protective ears. The rear sight is an aperture tangent sight marked with 1-10 (replacement), adjustable for windage and mounted to the receiver cover.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a reproduction one-piece smooth walnut-stained beech with a nosecap, barrel band, semi-pistol grip, straight comb, brass buttplate, and sling swivels front and rear. The handguard is two-piece smooth wood with a walnut-stained beech front piece and a walnut rear piece held in place by the barrel band. The stock has minor handling wear with only a few scattered light marks. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The buttplate has scattered wear and has gone to a moderate patina. Overall, the stock is in about Fine-plus condition as not original to the gun.

Bore Condition: The bore is semi-bright with sharp rifling. There is scattered light erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its current metal finish. The finish is generally strong throughout with a few scattered light marks through the finish, most notable on the nosecap, some scattered nicks under the finish, and light operational wear. There is infrequent minor surface oxidation. The screw heads are tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in about Very Good-Fine condition as refinished.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cocking indicator is located at the bottom front of the trigger guard. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes with a magazine that shows scattered finish light surface oxidation, intact feed lips and a strong spring, in about Very Good condition.
