Markings: The right side of the slide is marked ”COLT DOUBLE ACTION / –45 ACP–”. The left side of the slide is marked “COLT DOUBLE ACTION / –SERIES 80–” and with two eagle heads. The right side of the frame is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. / DA05752”. The barrel is marked “-COLT 45 AUTO-“. The left of the trigger guard is marked with the “VP” proof and “1”, the right is marked “Q”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a ramped blade with a recessed white dot and is fixed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a square notch with two recessed white dots and is dovetailed to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered black plastic panels with smooth borders and molded “COLT” medallions. The grips have a few little scuffs and faint scratches, they are mainly at the tops. The checkering is mostly sharp. Overall, the grips are in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few little draglines on the polished portions. There are a couple of little rubs on the matte portions. There is light handling wear. There is standard operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide-to-frame fit has a little bit of play. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, it may need a thorough cleaning to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a burgundy Colt box with styrofoam insert, paperwork including the manual, and an 8-round magazine with a Chip McCormick follower. The box has some scratches scuffs, edge wear, and a few tears, in about Very Good condition. The styrofoam has a few spots of material loss and a few spots of adhesive. The magazine shows light operational wear with intact feed lips and strong springs, in about Fine condition.
