Markings: The right side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON” the left is marked “S&W .357 MAGNUM”. The left side of the frame has S&W’s monogram logo, the right has the four-line Marcas Registradas. The yoke cut is marked with the serial number and the model number. The yoke and sides of the grip frame have inspection marks and the butt is marked with the serial number. The underside of the topstrap is marked “A”.
Barrel Length: 6”, with full underlug and solid, serrated rib.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped sight with a red insert and is pinned to a rise in the solid, serrated rib. The rear sight is a flat top, square notched white outlined leaf in a base that is micrometer-click adjustable for windage and elevation. The top strap is factory drilled and tapped for mounting an optic (this will require removing the rear sight).
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece rubber grips with finger grooves, smooth borders, slightly raised oval texturing, and S&W logos on both sides. There are some light rubs and general handling wear. The texturing has light rub wear. There is a rip into the rubber on the back of each panel. The grips rate in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the Electro Chemically Machined rifling is strong. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are some draglines from use and storage. There are some little scratches, most noticeable on the right side of the barrel at the muzzle. There are a few little dings, most noticeable on the sideplate at the front. There are a few rubs that have caused smooth spots. The cylinder has a thin turn-line. The hammer and trigger have minor operational wear and a few spots of minor discoloration. The screwheads show light use. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder produces light side to side play with no measurable back play in full lockup of all 7 chambers. The double-action trigger pull is smooth, the single action is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a blue plastic S&W case with a serial-matching label, keys for the internal lock, test-fired case, and paperwork including the manual. The case has scattered light-moderate storage wear with some spots of stress discoloration. The case rates in about Fine condition.
