Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN”. The left of the monoblock is marked “14415”, “4”, “6”, and “INVECTOR”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked with three proofs. The right of the top barrel is marked “SPECIAL STEEL 12 GA – 2 3/4″ AND 3″ – 26””. The inside of the forend iron is marked “14415” and the inside of the forend is stamped “H14415”. The top tang, under the lever, is marked “14415NY953”. The receiver, bottom portions of the monoblock visible through the frame, portions of the monoblock at the top of the frame, forend iron assembly, trigger guard, safety, and barrel release all have beautiful Grade 6 engraving. The bottom of the frame has an engraved dog in gold and the trigger guard has a flying pheasant in gold. The left of the frame has a game scene with two flying pheasant in gold, the right has a game scene with three flying ducks pheasant in gold

Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a bright bead at the front of the rib. The top of the rib is finely checkered, fading to serrations at the rear, for glare reduction.

Weight: 8 lb., 5.6 oz.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with a finger groove forend, round butt pistol grip, straight comb, and brown vent rubber Browning buttpad. The right side of the nose of the forend has a small chip loss on the edge up against the barrel with a scrape behind it the that has removed surface wood. The stocks have some compressions, draglines, dings, and a few scratches. The top of the wrist has a deep ding that has damaged surface wood. The comb has a scrape at the rear that has removed surface wood. Some of the most noticeable defects are at the start of the comb and on the round butt of the pistol grip. The checkering is strong with light rub wear and a few compressed peaks. The LOP measures approximately 14″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad and 13 ¼” to the wood. The pad has some light wear from use and has become stiff. Drop at comb is approximately 1 5/8″, drop at heel 2 3/8″. The cast is about neutral, slightly off. Overall, the stocks are in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. The edges of the rib have some marks and thinning. The largest marks on the rib are on the right side at about the midsection and have removed surface metal. There is thinning to the edges of the trigger guard with some light surface frost on the left edge. The barrels have a few spots of surface oxidation, most noticeable on the left at the most of the forend and on the right sides in about the first 2” from the muzzle. The barrel has a few light rubs and little marks into the finish. The edges of the barrels have thinning at the muzzles. The trigger has thinning to its finish. There are a few other scattered minor marks. The action shows light operational wear. The screw heads are lightly worn. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in about Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly including the ejectors. The barrels lock up with no play to the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a dark brown naugahyde Browning case, case key, and extra chokes. The case has some light wear on the edges and a few marks through the surface material, in about Fine condition. There are four Browning and three Briley chokes. The Browning chokes are Skeet, Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, and Full. The Briley chokes are all Extended and are Modified, Light Modified, and Light Full.
