Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “PYTHON .357 / *.357 MAGNUM CTG.*”. The right side of the barrel is marked “-COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.-”. The crane cut and the crane are marked with the serial number. The sideplate is marked with a “Rampant Colt” logo. The left front of the trigger guard is marked with “VP” in a triangle and at the rear with “V”.
Barrel Length: The vent rib barrel with full underlug is 6”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade with an orange plastic insert pinned to the front of the rib. The rear sight is an after-market Millett target sight with a white outlined square notch, adjustable for windage and elevation in its base, pinned to the topstrap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a one-piece checkered black rubber Pachmayr Gripper with finger grooves and Pachmayr medallions. The grip has minor handling wear, mostly in the smooth borders. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grip is in about Fine condition as not original to the gun.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 97% of its finish. There are a few scattered minor scratches and scuffs, most notable on the right of the frame above the recoil shield. The cylinder has a thin turn-line. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in about Fine-plus condition.
Mechanics: The lock-up on this revolver is SOLID, with no play when the trigger is depressed. The action functions correctly. We have not fired this revolver. This revolver has a wide target style hammer and a serrated trigger. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
