Our Assessment: This is a nice 629-2 from the “Twelve Guns” series produced by Smith & Wesson in 1990. The series was an exclusive for Ellet Bros and the series was done as a one gun per month subscription. The artistic engravings were based on the early S&W advertising paintings. This one is the Mountain Lion 629-2, number 251 of 500, and sports a 4” barrel, stainless finish, ramp front sight, micrometer rear sight, and smooth combat stocks. The revolver has great mechaincs, was looked after well by iuts previous owner, and will make for a great addition to your Smith & Wesson collection. Please see our photos and good luck!
