Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK / MADE IN U.S.A.”, “-MODEL 12 – 20 GA. – 2 3/4 CHAM. / -WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL- / WS-1”. The barrel to the left of the rib and the top of the receiver at the front each have an ovalled “WP” proof. The bottom of the receiver and barrel extension are marked “1449902”.

Barrel Length: 26″, Solid Rib

Choke: Skeet, Fixed

Sights / Optics: There is a white bead in a base at the front of the rib and a smaller white mid-bead. The top of the rib and receiver are serrated for glare reduction.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with extended slide handle, capped pistol grip, straight comb and checkered black hard rubber Winchester buttplate. The stocks have some scattered minor nicks and scuffs, most toward the rear of the buttstock. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 7/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate has scattered light wear, most around the edges, with well defined checkering and lettering. Overall, the stocks are in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This gun retains about 94% of its metal finish. The finish is thinning at most edges. There are some scattered light nicks, scuffs and scratches, most notable on the left of the receiver toward the top. The left-front edge of the receiver has wear from the action bar during reassembly. There is light wear to each side of the loading port. The action shows operational wear. The screw heads range from sharp to tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This shotgun will slam-fire as designed. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
