Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “-COLT’S- / COMMANDER MODEL / .45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER” and with a Rampant Colt logo. The right side of the slide is marked “-SERIES 80-”. The right side of the frame is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. / CJ34264”. The barrel at the port is marked “-COLT 45 AUTO-”. The left-front of the trigger guard is marked with “VP” in a triangle, the left-rear “A”. The right-front of the trigger guard is marked “4”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade dovetailed to the front of the slide, the rear sight is a square notch dovetailed to the rear of the slide. The front and rear sights have recessed dots which have been painted black.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered black rubber panels with rampant colt in circle at the middle of each panel. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The checkering is well defined. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is very minor operational wear. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide has very little play to the frame. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a blue plastic Colt box with serial-matching label, cable lock, an assortment of factory paperwork including manual and a total of two 7-round magazines. The magazines are marked on their floorplates with rampant colts, “COLT / 45 AUTO”, “C” and “S”. The magazines have very faint operational wear, intact feed lips and strong springs, in Excellent condition. The box has light storage wear, in about Fine condition.
