Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC. ILION, NY 17 REM FIREBALL” and is also marked “AC” next to the receiver. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number and “MODEL SEVEN”. The bolt sleeve is matched and marked with the last four digits of the serial number. The right side of the barrel is marked with magnaflux, proof, and test marks.

Sights / Optics: There is no provision for iron sights. THe top of the receiver has two pairs of empty drilled and tapped holes.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is checkered wood with a black capped forend, black capped pistol grip, straight comb with a cheekpiece, sling studs front & rear, and a black rubber buttpad. The black cap on the forend has a a bit of crazing to the finish. There are a few faint compressions and tiny nicks, themost noticeable are on the front of the wrist. The checkering is strong, there are only a couple very light marks, the most noticeable is a light scrape on the right side of the wrist. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures approximately 13 3/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the Remington SuperCell rubber buttpad. The buttpad has light handling marks, no major defects. Overall, the stock rates in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few light scuffs and marks on the bolt handle knob from standard use. There is standard operational wear and handling wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are strong and clear. A Rifle Basix aftermarket 8oz-24oz trigger has been installed. Overall this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. A Rifle Basix aftermarket 8oz-24oz trigger has been installed. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a serial matching box, manual, a pair of Leupold-style bases, and a pair of rings.
