Markings: The top of the barrel sloping into the left side is marked “THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. / MODEL 336W MICRO-GROOVE BARREL CAL. 30/30 WIN” and is also marked with a circled “JM” proof. The tang is marked “0207767”. The right side of the barrel is marked with Marlins two-line warning.
Barrel Length: 20 1/4”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed into a serrated ramped base screwed to the barrel. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn “U” sight dovetailed into a fitting with an elevation screw, the fitting is dovetailed into the barrel and screw set. The left of the receiver has a pair of drilled, tapped, and filled holes. The top of the receiver has four drilled, tapped and filled holes.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered wood with a pistol grip, straight comb, and a checkered black hard rubber Marlin buttplate. The buttstock is equipped with a sling swivel. The forend is held with a single blued barrel band with a sling swivel and there is another sling swivel mounted to the belly. There is no nose cap. There are only a couple of faint draglines and a couple of tiny marks into the finish, these will likely go unnoticed as they are so small. The LOP measures approximately 13 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate has light wear with no chips or cracks. The stocks rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp Micro-Groove rifling and no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a few infrequent little marks from light use and handling. There is minimal operational wear. The markings are strong and the screwheads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent overall condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lever safety is functional and there is also a ¼ cock safety and crossbolt safety. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a box, owners manual, and camouflage patterned padded sling. The box has a few tears and compressions and is wrapped with tape. The box is in about Good condition.
