Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This pistol is equipped with a de-cocker safety. The double action trigger pull is a little stiff, and the single action pull is light and crisp with a smooth takeup. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a two-piece cardboard Walther box with serial-matching label, serial-matching test target, manual, cleaning rod and a total of two 6-round magazines. The box has tears at some corners and scattered light storage wear, in about Good condition. The magazines have no notable wear, in Excellent condition.
Our Assessment: This is a nice little sub-compact double action .25 ACP pocket pistol made by Walther. Interestingly, though it was made in Germany in 1984, it doesn’t show any US import markings. Complete with its original box, test target, and a pair of magazines, this pistol will take a prized place in a Walther collection. It is in Excellent condition with about 98% of its metal finish remaining, a bright bore with sharp rifling and strong mechanics. If the collectors somehow miss this pistol, it will also make for a great concealed carry pistol. While some find the .25 ACP a little anemic for defense, the pistol’s small size and light weight mean it can be carried comfortably in situations where a larger pistol might be left at home. Please see our photos and good luck!
