Markings: The bottom of the receiver is marked “100% ITALIAN MADE” in the forend iron cut above “FAIR” in an oval above two flying ducks and “CARRERA”. The trigger plate has a clay in gold and “Marcheno made in Italy” with small markings to the left of the trigger guard when looking down. The sides of the receiver have a clay and “CARRERA”, the model name is marked in gold. The interior of the receiver is marked with proofs. The top tang is marked with the serial number. The left side of the top barrel is marked with a one-line warning and the chamber is marked “FAIR” followed by “MARCHENO – BS 100% ITALIAN MADE / GA. 12 – 76MM – 3” CHAMBER”. The left side of each barrel has a proof. THe left side of the monobloc is marked “12/76”. The left side of the top barrel is marked “IMPORTED BY IFG – NA, LLC. – AMARILLO, TX”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked with proofs, the date code, serial number, and “IT 20”. The sides and bottom of the receiver and top tang are engraved.

Choke: Each barrel is threaded for Removable chokes, currently installed are Improved Cylinder over Modified, both Extended. Also included are Extended Full, Improved Modified, and Cylinder.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a red fiber-optic insert in a base fixed to the rib. The rib is serrated for glare reduction.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with finger-grooved forend, pistol grip with a palm swell for right-handed shooters, adjustable monte carlo comb, and a solid black rubber buttpad. The stocks show light handling wear with a few infrequently scattered light compressions and well-defined checkering. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14 ½” from the front of the release trigger to the back of the recoil pad. As currently adjusted, the drop at the front of the comb is approximately 1 3/4”, at the rear of the comb approximately 2 ?”, and the drop at heel is approximately 2 3/4″. The cast is about neutral. The pad has light handling wear. Overall, the stocks are in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few light rubs on the trigger guard. The barrel has some faint oil marks from storage. The barrels have a few faint draglines. The top of the rib has some scattered scuffs that have lightly thinned the finish. The action has light operational wear. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrels lock up with no play to the receiver. The safety does not engage automatically when the action is opened, but functions properly when engaged manually. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes in a FAIR hardcase with a blue velvet lining. In the case is paperwork including the manual, a hard case with Cylinder, Improved Modified, and Full Extended chokes, plus blue fabric sleeves for the barrel set and stocked action.

The new F.A.I.R. Carrera over-and-under shotguns are the result of extensive research, and designed for the most discerning competition shooter. The new Magnum 12-gauge over-and-under features barrels made of UM / 8 – HD40 steel, with the proprietary X-Cones system. The barrels are chrome-lined to guarantee maximum resistance to wear, while the external surfaces feature a deep bluing, and a soft recoil-damping cone connects the barrel to the chamber. It also features the interchangeable Technichoke system, automatic ejectors, a finely checkered rib that reduces glare, and The tri-alloyed steel action has a polished blued finish with gold engraving.
