Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “45 ACP”. The right side of the slide is marked “BAER / Custom”. The top of the barrel is marked “BAER 45 MATCH”. The right side of the frame is marked “LES BAER CUSTOM / HILLSDALE IL USA / LB12161”. The bushing is marked “7267718 / NM”. The interior of the slide is marked “61”. The side of the bushing, obscured by the slide, is marked “161”. The bottom of the chamber is marked “161”. The slide stop is marked “161”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a flat-topped square notch target sight with a serrated rear face. The rear sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation and is dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered wood panels. There are a few a few lightly nicked peaks but the checkering is mainly sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in Fine Plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. There is some faint thinning on the edges, most noticeable on the front and rear. The left side safety has a few light scuffs. There are a few little scuffs and marks, some are noticeable on the trigger guard and on the to pof the slide in front of the ejection port. There are small spots of discoloration on the bright hammer. There is operational wear. The screw heads are undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide is snug. The trigger is very crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The gun comes with a total of one 8-round magazine. It has some scuffs and light discoloration from previous oxidation. The mag rates in about Very Good cocondition.
