Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The pistol features an ambidextrous thumb safety, mounted on the slide, which doubles as a decocker. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: The Beretta battle-tested and proven M9 has served the United States military for decades due to its reliability and ease of maintenance. The model 92FS is essentially the same as an M9, but with a civilian model designation and minor differences. Thanks to its accuracy, durability and versatility, it also makes a superb choice for personal or home-defense as well as concealed carry. This is the Brigadier version with a dovetail front sight and is thicker around the locking block compared to a standard 92. These upgrades give it more strength while dampening the already manageable recoil. The pistol is in about Fine Plus-Excellent condition with 97% of its finish remaining and comes in a Beretta case with a case sleeve and one 10-round mag. This is an earlier U.S. production model and a little nicer than the ones produced today. As many of the dedicated Beretta collectors already know, unlike current production models that have the black safety, hammer, trigger, trigger bar, takedown lever, takedown pin, magazine release, and guide rod this one features all those parts in stainless or silver-tone alloy, a much more attractive look in our opinion. This one comes in Fine Plus-Excellent condition and is ready for some shooting! Please see our photos and good luck!
