Markings: The left of the slide is marked “SIG SAUER 1911”. The rear interior flat of the slide is marked “467”. The right of the frame is marked “SIG SAUER INC. / NEWINGTON-NH-USA” and the right of the dust cover is marked with the serial number. The barrel is marked “.45 AUTO / SIG SAUER”.

Sights / Optics: The pistol is equipped with three-dot night sights. The front sight is a blade with a tritium lamp. The rear sight is a lo-mount style square notch sight with two tritium lamps. Both sights are dovetailed to the slide and the rear has a set screw. The front lamp has died, the rear two lamps are bright and easily acquired in low light environments.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are black and grey double diamond checkered wood panels. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. There are no cracks or chips. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. There is a crack in the barrel bushing. There are some rubs that have caused smooth spots, most noticeable on the trigger guard and on the magwell extension. The beavertail safety has some little scuffs and smooth spots. The grip frame checkering has some discoloration. There is light handling and operational wear. The screw heads are undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The barrel bushing has a crack but the action functions correctly. The slide has hardly any play to the frame. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a serial matching hard case, paperwork including the manual, and a single 8-round magazine in about Excellent condition.
Our Assessment: The barrel bushing has a crack, but this is a very easy fix. Sig has long been a quality handgun manufacturer, with their P-series pistols some of the most popular on the market. Still, even Sig knows that there’s something timeless about the 1911. This is their take on the classic 1911, with a series ’80 firing pin block, external extractor, and stainless slide and frame. It is in Fine condition with its original box and a magazine to get you started. If you don’t have a 1911 or if you don’t have a Sig, this pistol can check both boxes and will make a great shooter for years to come. Please see our photos and good luck!
